House of Pharaohs member Blaze YL drops the visuals to his lit turn up tune, “Profits”.
The young artist from the south London collective raps over the snare-heavy hip-hop beat - produced by Honeywoodsix - which is laced with vocal and speech samples and 80s hip-hop sound effects.
The visuals mix shots of Blaze delivering his verses on a bridge and standing on a Mercedes Benz with footage from a recent House of Pharaohs show. Blaze is shown keeping the crowd hype with his heavy interaction and crowd surfing.
I was super happy to be a part of this shoot alongside my good friend HoneywoodSix (The Producer). I am a big believer that Blaze & the boys at HOP are going places and will soon BLOW in the music scene!
House of Pharaohs’ Kevin Taylor has returned with yet another solo offering in the form of his newest drop, “Shifty”.
With his HOP collective, Kevin Taylor has dropped off several jumpy tracks and on “Shifty” he proves that he’s able to create a bouncy vibe by his lonesome. As well as being produced by Honeywoodsix, the dark video for Kevin Taylor’s latest tune is also directed and edited by the creative who captures the lively tone of the record.
The London group established their distinctive sound with debut mixtape Real Faces last year. Their hype grew as their track RWM was played on Frank Ocean’s Blonded Radio, and they landed a partnership with Nike to create the visuals of their single London’s Finest. From the very start, House of Pharaohs gained a lot of their support through a reputation accumulated by their high energy live performances across London. In 2017 the crew were invited to join Charlie Sloth on The Plug Tour, performing shows in cities across the UK as well as Italy and Amsterdam.
